St. Clair County Community College freshman Sophia Santo (Marysville High School) is the first MCCAA Eastern Conference Women's Bowler of the Week1 for the 2023-24 season.

In her first collegiate match, Santo stayed composed to capture the Wayne County Community College Open with a three-game total of 537 total pins. As a team, the Skippers finished in third place.
