Lake Michigan's Vallier named MCCAA Western Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week

Lake Michigan College freshman guard/forward Hannah Vallier (Vicksburg, MI/Vicksburg) has been named MCCAA Western Conference Women's basketball Player of the Week. Vallier had 23 points, 20 rebounds and one assists in the Red Hawks win over St. Clair County Community College. She shot 100 percent from the three point arc, 75 percent from the free throw line and 50 percent from the floor. Sally Merrill of Grand Rapids Community College and Gracie Nowak of Mid Michigan College were also nominated for the award.
