Longtime Lansing Community College men's basketball head coach Mike Ingram will be inducted into the NJCAA Men's Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Ingram, who is in his 27th season, has compiled a 565-224 record with the Stars. He has lead the Stars to four National Tournament appearances in 1991, 2006, 2015 and 2016. Ingram has lead Lansing to 19 conference championship and has 19 MCCAA Western Conference Coach of the Year Awards. He has won one NJCAA Region XII Coach of the Year, one NJCAA District 8 Coach of the Year and two NJCAA District 9 Coach of the Year awards. As an assistant he was on the coaching staff that won the 1988 NJCAA Division II National Championship.
Ingram has coached eight NJCAA All-Americans during his tenure at Lansing.
Ingram played at Lansing for two season starting in 1979, earning NJCAA Second Team All-American honors before moving on to Central Michigan University to finish his career.
