Delta Women’s Soccer Brings Home Seventh Straight MCCAA Championship

The Delta dynasty continued its winning ways on Saturday (Oct. 19) as a 4-1 road win at Jackson College secured the program's seventh consecutive MCCAA Women's Soccer Championship. The win also kept the top-ranked NJCAA Division III Pioneers unblemished on the season at 9-0-0 (7-0-0 MCCAA). 

An example of their great season, the Pioneers have outscored the opposition by a staggering 51-2 margin (36-2 in MCCAA contests).

A mainstay atop the MCCAA standings and NJCAA Division III women's soccer scene, the Pioneers will look to win the program's latest Region XII DIII title when they host the Express of Owens Community College on Oct. 26. The region title match is set for a 1 p.m. start in University Center with the winner advancing to the NJCAA Division III Midwest District Championship.

The winner of the district championship secures a spot in the NJCAA Division III National Championship in Batavia, New York, November 12-17.
