Southwestern Michigan's Edwards is the 2024 MCCAA Wrestler of the Week#2

Southwestern Michigan College sophomore Shane Edwards (Battle Creek, Mich.) is the MCCAA Wrestler of the Week#2.

Competing at 285 pounds, Edwards posted a 6-1 record, including four pins, during the Cumberlands Open and Muskegon Invitational. In the first event, he had a 3-1 record for third place as the Open featured 30 teams. He wrapped up the week with first place in his weight class at the Invitational. 

A reigning national qualifier, Edwards is nationally ranked fourth in the NJCAA.
