Putting the Student in Student-Athlete! 89 Teams Named MCCAA All-Academic Teams, 948 Student-Athletes Earn Academic Honors

It was a memorable year of competition and an even better year in the classroom for member institutions across the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) landscape! A total of 89 teams were named 2022-23 MCCAA All-Academic Teams, while a staggering 948 student-athletes earned academic honors to culminate an amazing year of academic and athletic success. To earn MCCAA All-Academic Team honors, a team must achieve a 3.0+ team GPA in the current academic year. Academic All-Conference honors are earned by student-athletes who post a 3.0+ GPA and pass 24 credit hours during the current academic year. Academic All-MCCAA honors are earned by those with a 3.2+ GPA and 24 credit hours passed during the current academic year.
