Kellogg's Tom Shaw named MCCAA Athletic Director of the Year

The Michigan Community College Athletic Association has named Tom Shaw as the 2020 recipient for the MCCAA Athletic Director of the Year. Shaw, athletic director at Kellogg CC, becomes the first three time recipient of the award, he also won the award in 1999 and 2014. He has added men's and women's cross country, men's and women's bowling and women's soccer in the last three seasons. He is currently treasurer for the MCCAA, a position he took when no one else wanted the position. 

He has also spearheaded the creation of the MCCAA Executive Administrator position that will start on July 1. He also brings many ideas to the table at MCCAA meetings that have help moved the organization forward. Shaw has a passion for the Michigan Community College Athletic Association that very few have.
